My aunt put up Food Box, a take-out bar in Washington Drive (located in front of Mercury Drug Store Washington), which caters to people who are busy to cook. It offers rice toppings of classic recipes, daily specials and barbecue.
The opening night for Food Box was just this Tuesday, August 27, at the said spot. Close friends and relatives came in for the event and a few curious customers who decided to try out the newly opened place. They were fortunate enough to have a free taste of all of Food Box's specialty.
Close friends of the owners of Food Box Express.
Curious friends from Mercury Drug Store trying out the food.
During the opening night, six main viands were served namely, Humba, Crispy Chicken Fingers, Bicol Express, Chicken Wings, Karne Frita, and Chicken Teriyaki, plus Tita's spaghetti. My favorite would have to be the last one!
Crispy Chicken Fingers - you can choose from different types of sauce to partner with this.
Bicol Express. Sad I wasn't able to taste this since I have allergy to bagoong.
Crispy Chicken Wings
Tita's Classic Karne Frita
My favorite! Chicken Teriyaki
Aside from their usual rice toppings and snacks, they serve four new viands everyday, plus, they start barbecuing at around 5 PM. They also offer small, medium, large and party packages for Chicken Fingers, Spaghetti and Pansit. I assure you the food is very affordable and worth the price you pay. ;)

I'm blessed enough to be in a family of good cooks and good looks (LOL, I kid about the latter). I deem I should put my cooking skills to use (if I have any) so I wouldn't be a disgrace to my family (and again, I kid, LOL).
Anyhoo, try it out guys! The food's great plus the place is very clean! ;)
